Rainbow Girls Embroidery Pattern

$5.00

Meet The Rainbow Girls! I first designed some of these girls for a metals class I was taking at Penland School of Crafts (they became copper pendants). I love them and I've continued to doodle them after that class - and now I offer them to you.

What you get:
  • Regular pattern
  • Reversed pattern
  • Complete color and stitch guide
Skills you need to make it exactly as you see here: (links take you to the free video tutorials)
Time you need:
  • a weekend (one girl takes me 1-2 hours to stitch, and I'm a slow stitcher)
$5.00

What can you make - besides this exact picture? Well - I stitched the red girl onto some wool felt, added a safety pin to the back and made this brooch. And I've already gotten a request to enlarge one of the girls (she's still deciding which one) so my daughter can stitch her on a T-shirt. It would be super-cute to stitch each of them on her own square and then join them together (with colorful sashing) to make a little doll quilt. What will you make?

Have fun and happy stitching!
