My daughter did. She's 8 years old. I LOVE how she interpreted the pattern. The stripes on the car are all done in colored pencils, and then she did outline stitching in (usually) a matching color. The car is outlined in hot pink.
I love it!
If anyone else wants take this one for a spin, the pattern is free and available here. This would also be a great project on which to partner with a kid who's too young to do the stitching themselves. You transfer the pattern, let the expert color, and then you stitch.
PS - Jo (my daughter) just got on Flickr and is thrilled to share her work with The World. I'll pass along any comments posted here, but if anyone feels like commenting directly to her, her Flickr photo is here. I know she'd be thrilled to hear from someone besides me. :-)
And if anyone else wants to share - please post a photo of your work at the Shiny Happy Embroidery group.
Best,
Wendi
