It's been a couple of weeks since I posted some photos from the Show & tell groups - and you all have been busy! Take a look at the wonderfulness. . .
That cute pink bow! The contrasting fabric on the tummy! The proud smile! Please visit tamconlan on Flickr to look at all of the work-in-progress photos for this project - and be sure to leave a comment for K to tell her what a great job she did. Kidsinthestudio finished her Rainbow Girls beanbags and blogged about the project here. You have to visit the post just to see her adorable daughter tossing one in the air with a huge grin on her face. I just love seeing happy kids playing with handmade toys.
Rep. marjan made this gorgeous mini tote. I love the white embroidery on that shade of green - it's so fresh-looking! And we can only see the tiniest sliver of the lining fabric, but it looks like the shape of the leafy pattern is very similar to the shape of the leafy sprig the bird is holding. Nicely done!
Xperimentl made this terrific pair of Beast Bags for her kids for summer trips to the library. I love the scaly look to the fabric on the bag for "her" - and the placement of the buttons on the eyes gives them so much personality! Nice job! And last - but certainly not least - L.A.C.E. made four (that's right - FOUR!) Shiny Happy Bunnies. This one is my favorite - I love the mismatched fabric in the ears! You can see the rest of them (and read a sweet baby blanket story) here.
Great job everyone! Thanks so much for sharing your creations!

ReplyDeleteI love seeing what other people do! I hope more projects start popping up in the Flickr groups--it's so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you all are enjoying the Show & tell too! I'm sure more people will join in as we go along - it's hard to put yourself out there the first time.
