You all may have noticed by now that I like to base my softies on really simple shapes. That's partly to make the construction as simple as possible, but also because I'm just drawn to simple shapes. One of the things I like to study for inspiration are painted rocks. And these owls are beauties, no? I love how she didn't use the same "formula" on all of them. One some the big eye circles make a bean shape, sometimes it's a heart, and sometimes they're separate blobs. I especially like the brown one with the yellow eyes and the white one with the eyes going slantways - like he's thinking hard about something.
