The Puppies are Here! New Embroidery Pattern

embroidered dogs
The puppies are here - and I'm in love! These were a delight to stitch up - I used really basic stitches for all of them so they took less than an hour each. Of course, as soon as my daughter saw them she wanted to stitch one up too, so she has the bulldog in a hoop. She's planning to make a fabric cuff with him. Actually, she has plans for an entire dog wardrobe. I'm working on a T-shirt with the fourth dog in the picture - enlarged, of course. She wants a skirt with dog #2 down near the hem, and a purse with dog #3. She considered making a hat too, but thought that might be "too much." :-)

But I digress. The dog pattern is in the shop. It's $5 and you get patterns and stitch guides for the four dogs on the cover, plus patterns for two additional dogs.

I'm wearing my dog #3 necklace right now and I've already gotten a ton of compliments on him - and I'm planning a few doggie tree ornaments for my dog-loving friends.

Don't want to do square frames? Take a look! They also frame up beautifully in little 3 inch embroidery hoops!

Wouldn't a little cluster of these look great?

You can also, of course, enlarge the patterns to stitch anywhere. I'm almost done with my daughter's T-shirt and I'll show that to you when it's finished. I have a feeling these little pups are going to be popping up on lots of my projects!

So - the embroidery pattern is available here. And for all you cat people out there - the cats will be finished by tomorrow. :-) I'm done with the stitching - just have to photograph them and lay out the pattern. Christmas baubles will be done on Wednesday.

Happy stitching!

Best,
Wendi

  2. Oh, Wendi, these are adorable. I just love the one with the circle around his eye. You do such great work. Show us your daughter's work too. :-)
