I made a little more progress on the UFO Basket(s). This is a scrap of upholstery fabric Jo found. . . somewhere. . . and asked me to make into a rug for her doll house.
It's a really cool fabric with great napped ridges on it. It really did look like a rug! But it was really ragged at the edges so I need to bind them. This should have been another easy 5-minute project, but those napped ridges were a bear to bind. It didn't help that I was using really skinny binding tape (what I happened to have on hand) and on the first pass I didn't bother to use any pins.
*pick*pick*pick*swear*swear*swear*pick*pick*pick*
I did it right the second time and it turned out great.
And one more that really
was an easy 5-minute project. Repair the clasp on this necklace. 5 minutes with my jewelry tools and it's out of my basket.

ReplyDeleteMending UFO Pile is down to one button to sew on. Unpacked all my button jars so now I can find one for the shirt.

Then I swear I am going to sew myself something!
