Last week I released my first kit - a Shiny Happy Bunny Kit. Thanks so much for your terrific response! There are a couple more kits left in stock - and plenty more on order.
Finishing the bunny kit made me realize that I have a bunch of other Easter/Spring patterns - including some freebies. While there's still plenty (6 weeks!) of crafting time, I thought I'd do a round-up of all of them in one place. Ready? All the links go to the shop, where you can find more info and, of course, buy the patterns. :-)
First up is the Bunny Kit. Easy peasy. Make one in about an hour. That's a single naptime people!
And if you want to use your own fabric there's the Bartholomew Bunny pattern. There's a bit more work involved, but you can still make one in an afternoon.
Is embroidery more your thing? Well, here's a cute little bunny pattern! It'll probably take about 3-4 hours to stitch up - if you're slow like me. :-)
Here's a free pattern for a super-easy embroidered chick. Click here to download the pattern. And click here for a tutorial showing how I mixed applique and embroidery to get the striped egg without any fill stitching.
This chick was one of the three stitched by my daughter in this group. She used the "fill with colored pencils" technique you'll find in this video. The other chicks come from the Chickens embroidery pattern - just enlarged a bit. These are terrific for kids to stitch because they're really simple and super fast.
And finally - there's this free pattern. You know those candy-filled cellophane carrots you see every Easter? Well, this fabric carrot is my riff on that idea. Download the free pattern here.
There. That should be enough to keep you busy for a while. :-)
Happy Monday!
Best,
Wendi
These are all so wonderful! I think I need someone to send me a carrot full of candy!!!
