Happy Drawings Quilt-in-Progress :-)

I had a busy weekend of computer work - and my reward was getting to start sewing up this quilt. I finished the not-fun work with only a little bit of daylight left - just enough time to stitch up two rows of my new easy-peasy quilt. I'll work on this as time allows throughout the week and hope to have the pattern ready by next week.

Want to know what else is coming up this week?

Tomorrow I hope to have a new video up. I recently made myself a new pincushion (a really easy one and my favorite pincushion shape).

Getting that button on there really tight so it dimples in (and with a matching button on the other side) with no knots showing is the trickiest part of the whole project. So I made a video showing you how!

On Wednesday I'll post a free pattern for the pincushion.

On Thursday I have Show & Tell. Have you made anything new lately from one of my patterns? Send me an email or post it in one of the Flickr groups (embroidery here and sewing here)!

Friday is Towel Day - in honor of Douglas Adams (author of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) and his advice to always carry a towel. He meant a bath towel, but I thought it would be a great day to release my first especially-for-tea-towels pattern. It doesn't have anything to do with Hitchhiker, but it is funny. At least I think so. We'll have to see what you think. :-)

Speaking of towels. . . the FedEx tracking site says my colorful tea towels are on a truck on their way to be delivered today. I'll update the shop as soon as I get them and send out a note on Facebook and Twitter. This time I ordered cloth napkins too. Hope you like them! :-)

Have a wonderful week everyone - and a magical Monday! (I'm feeling alliterative this morning.)

Happy stitching!

Best,
Wendi
