More Paper Crafting with Embroidery Patterns

Jo's home from camp. Yay! Three weeks is a LONG time for her to be gone, but she loves every minute there. :-)

Here are some more images of the cards I made and sent her while she was at camp. (You can find the first batch here.) That purple dog might be my favorite. He's made with one of the dogs in this embroidery pattern.

And this blue dog is the first card I sent her. We had a power outage on the day I made it so I wasn't able to scan it before I put it in the mail. He's also from the dogs embroidery pattern.

This little girl is, of course, one of the Rainbow Girls.

And this monster is one of the Mini Monsters. He's vying with the purple dog for my favorite. Jo came home with ideas about how we could make him from food: a butternut squash for the body, carrot greens for the hair, hard-boiled eggs for the eyes (with black bean pupils), beets for his feet, and cucumbers for his green teeth. I love it!

If you look closely (click if you want to see any of these bigger) you can see that his hair is stitched - not cut paper. There's a video showing how to do that here.

Happy Monday everyone!

Best,
Wendi
