Happy Quilting!

I started quilting this quilt months ago. But the quilting pattern I used was very NOT FUN to actually execute, so I let it sit while I decided what to do. Then I sold a book and everything else got pushed to the side for a while.

I recently picked it up again and decided I did not want to keep on with the quilting I was doing. Too many direction changes, too much wrestling fabric through the machine, and too dang slow. And I wasn't even happy with the way it was turning out.

I spent the last week or so picking out all the quilting I had done so far. (Even less fun than quilting it had been.) And now I'm ready! I'm going to quilt this baby today. It's a gloomy rainy day and this will be the perfect project. And if I'm really in the groove I can even get the binding on - and I can look forward to some lovely relaxing hand work tonight.
