Bunnies (and Other Easter-ish Things)
Easter is March 31 this year. Have you made a bunny yet? I have a ton of Easter-ish patterns - including a bunch of freebies. Here's a quick round-up. . .
There is, of course, the Bartholomew Bunny softie pattern - made up there in the first photo from a vintage sheet. So pretty and soft! You can get the pattern here.
If you want something that sews up even faster, try the DIY Bunny Kits. Warning - there are only a couple of these left in the shop and I won't get a reorder in time for the holiday. If you want one - don't dawdle! Get it now.
Perhaps you'd like to sew a treat for a bunny, instead of the bunny itself?
This Carrot Full o' Candy is easy to sew - and the pattern's free! Get it here.
Maybe you like embroidery more than sewing? Stitch up these friendly bunnies.
Or these Little Chicks with Big Feet. These are especially fun for kids to color and stitch - and the pattern's free.
Maybe you fancy getting felty?
Stitch up this pretty egg! The pattern is free and the complex design is a dream to transfer with The Magical Embroidery Stuff. You know it works on felt too, right?
Or these felt hens. It's another free pattern. With a heavy filler they make great pattern weights, but with plastic pellets they're perfect little pocket pals/Easter basket treats.
Of course, Easter basket treats don't have to be Easter-ish - anything small and fun is a good treat. Kids love these easy snakes - get the free pattern here.
And these Blockhead beanbags are really fun to play with after the egg hunt is over.
So - are you ready for some springtime sewing? Have fun!
Best,
Wendi
