Show & Tell - a Herd of Huggable Elephants

The Six Months of Softies Club launched less than a week ago - and three people have already sent me photos of their finished elephants!

This first one is from Abby Glassenberg (who is one of the other designers in the Six Months of Softies group). She named hers Polly and I love the little bow she added to one ear. Click here to see more photos and read about the project.

Abby writes. . .
I'm finding it incredibly enjoyable to sew these one by one, and I've already learned a smart trick for neatly attaching footpads from Wendi's pattern.

Rachel made the elephant and the mouse - all in shades of pink. So cute! She blogged about them here.

Rachel writes. . .
I signed up for this yesterday and couldn't wait for the pattern to arrive, so I was very excited to find it in my inbox. I got straight to it and found it very easy to make and the instructions were very clear with bonus video tutorials to help if you were having difficulties. I am so glad I signed up for this sew along.

To anyone thinking of signing up I say DO IT I'm sure you won't regret it making these two was so much fun!

And finally - Naomi made this sweetie in light grey fleece. I love the subtle stripey texture in the heathered fleece - and she looks so cuddly!

Want to make your own? Join Six Months of Softies! The elephant and mouse are just the first of six brand new patterns to come - all exclusive to club members.

I've seen what's coming for two of those question marks and I can't wait to make them myself! Join the club and sew them with me! :-)

Best,
Wendi
