Last week I invited you all to introduce yourselves. Thanks to those who did! The comments are still open so more of you can join in if you're so inclined.

This week I wanted to let you know about another way to build a little community here. I've set up two groups in Flickr: Shiny Happy Sewing School and Shiny Happy Embroidery School. This is a place where you all can show off a little. I LOVE seeing what people make from my patterns and "Show & Tell" has always been a favorite part of the classes I teach in person. I know I haven't posted many patterns yet, but some of them have been downloaded hundreds of times - and some of you have emailed me privately to tell me how proud you are of what you've made. Now you have a chance to show everyone else too!

If you're not already familiar with Flickr - go check it out. It's a free photo-sharing site and it's pure awesome. I've connected with many wonderful artists there!
