Pirates vs. Ninjas Finger Puppets

Now in the shop!

A sewing pattern designed especially for beginning sewers! Stitch up a crew of pirates and a troop of ninjas - or any other finger puppets you can imagine!

What you get:
  • complete instructions (with loads of step-by-step photos) to make a set of three pirate and three ninja finger puppets
  • full-sized pattern (no enlarging needed)
  • a blank pattern (no pirates or ninjas - just the cutting and stitching lines) so you can design your own additions. Maybe you need some barrels for the pirates to hide behind? Or some trees for the ninjas to hide behind? Or maybe you want to make a completely different set. Flowers and fairies? Cowboys and aliens? Cats and dogs? The sky's the limit!
Materials needed:
  • two 8 1/2" x 11" pieces of white cotton fabric
  • needle and thread
  • freezer paper (available at the grocery store - near the tinfoil)
  • fine-tipped black permanent marker
  • colored pencils
  • chalk pencils or erasable marker for marking cutting and sewing lines
Skills needed:
I designed this especially for beginning sewers so the pattern includes a stitching line to follow. Each puppet is small enough to quickly and easily stitch it up by hand.
$5.00
Purchase them here.

When you're done - please share your creations! I've set up a Shiny Happy Sewing School group on Flickr so everyone has a place to show off a bit. I can't wait to see what you make!

Happy sewing!
