This month I HAD to do a bunny pattern and this is a super easy one that you can stitch up in an evening.
I'd also like to point out that these bunnies have arms! A lot of people have asked why I often draw things without arms. I don't know for sure, but I think it might have something to do with an early fixation on Fisher Price Little People toys. The new ones have arms. But the old ones never did and I still think they are awesome in their simplicity. I saw this Sesame Street set in a children's museum a few years ago and I literally swooned. But I digress. . .
The bunnies have arms because they needed them to share their little treats with each other, and I didn't want to go all Veggie Tales on you and have what they're holding just floating in midair next to their heads.

Oh please go all Veggie Tales on us! These are cute Wendi!
ReplyDeleteThanks Becky! Now I'm wondering if I can make veggie-shaped market bags with big googly eyes - and teeth! Kind of a mash-up of Veggie Tales and my Beast Bag. Hmmm. . .
