KCWC Day 4: The Cat Skirt
It's day 4 of the Kids Sewing Week Challenge. I'm away from home (and my sewing machine!) all week, but I sewed and sewed all weekend so I could still participate.
Jo liked the Toomuchery skirt so much that she asked me to make another one with this cute cat fabric we bought in Japan. I had just enough to make it - though I needed to use a bit of matching turtle fabric for the ruffle at the bottom.
This is a simple A-line skirt with an elastic waist - made with this pattern. Instead of hemming it I sewed a 1 inch ruffle to the bottom. Easy peasy.
I'm hoping to have a pattern for the tiered skirt I shared Monday and yesterday - but I'm away from my usual office stuff so it might be a bit later in the day before it gets posted.
I hope you've all been having a great week!
Best,
Wendi
