Wow - That's a Lot of Hair

So I made another amigurumi. This time I didn't follow a pattern and the results were. . . unexpected. She didn't turn out anything like what I was "planning" but I liked her anyway. Jo asked me to add some hair and ran off to my yarn tubs to choose something. Next thing I know she's coming back into the room, chuckling, with the yarn hidden behind her back. "Mommy," she says, "this yarn is going to Blow. Your. Mind." Did it ever. I don't know what this stuff is called or why I have it, but it's very. . . fluffy. :-)

I also finished stitching the BFF cat and bird pattern on the only T-shirt in my work basket that still fit her. (oops) I used the Magical Embroidery Stuff on this instead of my usual T-shirt stabilizer and - of course - it worked like a dream. There's nothing that stuff isn't good for! Look at the inside of the shirt. . .

A far cry from my usual messy (but fine) T-shirt insides. :-)

Jo likes it. At least - I think that's what that face means. :-)
