Is Taking the Day Off to Quilt When You're a Designer Playing Hooky?

It sure feels like it. I spent all weekend and all day yesterday at the computer doing not-fun stuff. And I still have to do my taxes this week. :-(

But today. . . today I am going to play with fabric. I've had this lovely collection of fat quarters - and a sketch of the quilt I want to make with them - on my worktable for over a month now. I even have all the measurements worked out! All I have to do is cut, sew, press, repeat - and I'm going to do it all day long. I feel like this is a quilt that will come together quickly, but you never know until you get into it.

Right now - I have some ironing to do. :-) la la la la la. . .
