This is a big pattern - the image is just under 16" x 22" and fits beautifully on one of these towels. It'll take several nights to stitch (maybe while someone else does the dishes instead of you?) but the stitching is super easy. It's all one color and you can use your favorite outline stitch. I used backstitch on the block letters and stem stitch on those last few words in script. I know I don't have a stem stitch video yet (sorry about that oversight!) but I just moved it to the top of my list. I'll record one next week and have it ready to post the week after. Ok? In the meantime, you can start all those block letters. :-)
Also - I know a lot of you don't like knots and tails showing on the back of your tea towels. I hear you! So for those of you who have been asking - in next week's video I'll show you how to start your stitches without using any knots.
But back to the pattern. . . you'll get a full-sized pattern (it prints on four sheets of paper) plus an extra version sized so the whole thing fits on a single sheet of paper. That'll make it easy to enlarge or reduce it to any size you want. Maybe for a sampler? Or to put on an apron? This would be great on an apron.
All pattern pieces come in regular orientation, and also reversed for use with iron-on transfer tools. I strongly recommend using The Magical Embroidery Stuff. It makes transferring the pattern a snap, and also stabilizes the looser weave of the dish towel.
So there you have it! Everything you need to tell the world (or at least the members of the world who are in your kitchen) how you feel about that dreaded kitchen chore. Unless, of course, you love doing the dishes. :-)

Happy stitching! And have a great weekend!
