Why? Well - STITCHED is a year-long collection of workshops and the year is nearly half over. But you still have plenty of time to learn lots of new stuff.

I first started talking about this back in December - so here's a quick recap of exactly what STITCHED is all about. . .

STITCHED is a collection of 20 online video workshops by 20 talented fabric artists. Each workshop provides you with high value and high content information to get you sewing, designing and creating 20 unique fabric art and sewing projects.

I'm so excited to be a part of this group. That picture up at the top is the project we've been making in my class. I call it the Peekaboo Bear Quilt. I designed this quilt especially for those brand new to applique. Is that you? Want to learn how to make it? Then join us!

My workshop is a series of 7 videos taking you step by step through every part of making this quilt - fabric selection, embroidering the faces, an easy peasy (and fast!) machine applique technique, piecing, basting, machine quilting, and binding. You can make a whole twin-sized quilt (like I did), a smaller wall-hanging, or a single block to make into a cute pillow.
