Happy Solstice everyone!
I love celebrating the Winter Solstice. It's a tremendous lift to my mental health to know that even in the coldest, gloomiest days of winter, the days are bit by bit getting longer, with a few more minutes of sunshine every day. It's always so surprising (and reassuring) to me to know that the shift happens before the real cold hits.
The Winter Solstice also marks the official beginning of my winter holiday season. I'll be spending the time relaxing and recharging and getting ready for a fabulous jump into 2013. I'll see you all on January 1st with a fun start-of-the-year video that I think you'll all like.
So have a warm and wonderful holiday season yourselves! I hope it's filled with friends and family, good times and good food - and light!
Best,
Wendi
Wendi - thank you so much for your wonderful patterns and inspiration through the year. I made a Franklin cat for my daughter for Christmas and also got her a zokling. Have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy your time with friends and family! Peace....
