Embroidery Pattern - Space (as seen in Saturday morning cartoons)

$5.00

This is the space of my childhood imagination - fat red rockets, weirdly colored planets, aliens with antennae and odd appendages. It's all the fun stuff!

There's a lot packed into this pattern - but you can stitch every bit of it with just five basic stitches. As always - the pattern has links to tutorials teaching you how to do all the stitches I used. You can totally do this!

Want to see some details?

That comet took the longest to stitch - but it was really easy. It's two strands of light orange thread mixed with two strands of dark orange - and then it's all backstitch. How easy is that?

I did the same thing for the rocket's flames. It's all backstitch.

The alien and the raygun? All backstitch. There's a tiny bit of satin stitching on the "trunk" of the green alien and that's about as fancy as things get.

The total image is 7 inches square and takes several nights to stitch - but I designed it so you can easily pull out individual images to use. Add a raygun to a purse, a rocket to a pair of jeans, an alien to a lunchbag. You get the idea.

With your purchase you'll receive a PDF containing the full sized pattern for tracing, and a reversed pattern for use with iron-on transfer tools. You'll also get a complete color and stitch guide, with links to videos teaching you all the stitches I used. You can expect delivery of your file within 24 hours, though I'm usually able to get it to you much sooner.

So what are you waiting for? You know you want to stitch some sci-fi goodness to something. :-) Get the pattern here. And have fun!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Best,
Wendi
