I've gotten a bunch of wonderful bunny photos recently so I'm doing an extra Show & Tell post this week. Lots of fabulous bunnies. :-)
Annette sent this photo of the six bunnies she made for her daughter's six children. (Six kids? Just the thought makes me tired!) When I complimented her on how nice the solid bunnies look with the printed ears/hands/feet, she told me that the prints were all scraps from clothes she's made for the kids. How sweet is that?
Lia sent this cute photo of her goddaughter with the bunny she made her for Easter. Look at that smile! And the bunny's pretty cute, too. :-) I'm a total sucker for dots and stripes together.
Connie sent a picture of this fashionable tiger-striped bunny, with the following note. . .
I'm going to try to send you a couple of photos of the bunny my 4yr old granddaughter and I just finished. It's kinda rough, but Abby is very proud of her first lesson using the sewing machine. Tried something different with the ears, I put a pipe cleaner (folded in half) in each ear before I sewed across the bottom in the first step of the ears. Next time I think I will sew top and bottom ends into the seam allowance as the top isn't quite what I was looking for, but it still is fun watching the different ways to pose them.Pipe cleaners to make the ears poseable! Sewing with kids! That hot pink nose! The fabulousness just keeps going. And look - the tail is hot pink too!
Are you inspired by the wonderfulness? Do you want to make your own? The pattern is here.
Happy sewing! Have a wonderful week everyone!
Best,
Wendi
Hey Wendy, what great fun to see my bunnies here! They were a huge hit with my grandkids and they are still wagging them around by the ears!
