Last week I brought you the pattern for the original Blockheads - little beanbag heads that I designed for my daughter and then made, and made, and made - for her, for her friends, and to sell. A couple of years after I made the first Blockheads, my daughter came to me with a problem. She really liked the faces - and the personalities - of her Blockheads, but she wanted some that were big enough to snuggle with. She wanted them to be made of extra-soft fabric and have no buttons or other hard bits. Simply put - she wanted a Blockhead she could sleep with.
We tested many (many!) sizes and shapes until we arrived at one that she declared "perfect for snuggling." And so the Huggable Blockheads were born. Enjoy making your own!

We tested many (many!) sizes and shapes until we arrived at one that she declared "perfect for snuggling." And so the Huggable Blockheads were born. Enjoy making your own!

Materials you'll need for each Blockhead:
